Bangkok: Chaos ensued in the Tha Tum Subdistrict of Sri Maha Pho District when a 27-year-old woman, identified as Ms. Suthasinee, was seen walking along the road in a purple dress, dragging a suitcase, and behaving unusually. Locals, concerned for her safety, alerted rescue services after witnessing her remove her underwear and throw it into a nearby canal.

According to Thai News Agency, volunteers from the Sawang Bamphat Thammasathan rescue unit, Ban Pong Phai branch, responded to the situation. Upon arrival, they found the woman incoherent and initially unwilling to provide any information. Her clothing was found scattered in a canal that was overgrown with water hyacinths. Rescue volunteers managed to calm her down, offering her a change of clothes and food while attempting to understand the situation.

Documents in her suitcase identified her as Ms. Suthasinee from Kumphawapi District, Udon Thani Province. She provided inconsistent information, alternating between calling herself "Nong Film" and "Nong Toto." She mentioned leaving home due to issues with a housemate and had only consumed Thai tea since the previous night. She also described hearing voices and could not recall why she impulsively discarded her clothes into the canal.

Ms. Suwipa Phothuang, head of the Sawang Bampen Thammasathan station, reported that a volunteer had initially spotted Ms. Suthasinee seemingly about to jump into the water, prompting immediate intervention. The officers followed her, offering reassurance until she became more responsive.

The village head of Moo 7, Ban Pong Phai, has contacted Ms. Suthasinee's relatives. Plans are underway to have rescue volunteers transport her back to her family in Kumphawapi District. Relatives disclosed that she has exhibited similar behavior in the past, attributing it to drug use rather than depression or other mental health issues.
