Nack Chalee Expresses Frustration Over Unresolved Burglary Case Affecting Life Plans

Bangkok: Nack Chalee laments that the safe in a famous case was found so quickly, but his own 50 million baht safe still hasn't been found after 9 months, ruining his life plans.

According to Thai News Agency, after famous actor Nak Chalee's house in Chokchai 4 was burglarized in mid-2025, with thieves making off with over 1,000 collectibles and a safe containing items worth 40-50 million baht-including cash, gold, and other valuables-police tracked down someone posting Nak's guitar for sale in September 2025. They then set up a sting operation and arrested two members of a gang involved in "buying stolen goods." However, they only recovered some of the stolen items (some violins and one gun). The safe and dozens of other guns remain missing.

On the morning of March 25, 2026, Nack Chalee went live to express his frustration about the police report he had filed. He implied that while others' safes, containing assets worth 40-50 million baht, were found missing, his case remained completely silent. During the live stream, he revealed, "The worst part of my life is that TV shows won't let me on them. They think I'm just a kid who jokes around, and that's my weakness. I see news about other people's safes disappearing, and they're found. Mine is far more valuable. Just the safe itself is worth 40-50 million baht, plus cash and gold. I don't even care how much that is. And 300-400 violins, each worth 200,000 baht. You still see violins being sold on marketplaces for 2,000 or 700 baht. I told them it's okay if they don't buy them; I'm happy for the kids who get them. That's all I want."

Chalee further expressed his annoyance, stating, "Now it's up to the thieves or the police. I'll be honest, I acquired every single gun. If any of them came from someone who died, or from their family, I promised to take good care of them. I wouldn't sell them when I'm broke. I'd only sell them when I've planned it out. When I'm 70, I'll live comfortably because I'll have so many of these things. I could live without having to do anything until I die. But now everything has changed. Since the past nine months, I've been stressed. Actually, when I'm old, when I'm 70, I'll sell them to find someone to take care of them. I can live comfortably for a year or two. Some guns, selling just one, could last me a year or two. I could spend no more than 1-2 million baht a month, buying things frivolously. Oh, it's so easy with all these things. But when they get stolen, all my plans are ruined."
