Nakhon Ratchasima Women’s Volleyball Team Clinches 7th Championship Title

Bangkok: The Nakhon Ratchasima Quminsee VC women's volleyball team secured their seventh title in the TVA CHANNEL Volleyball Thailand League 2026 after a hard-fought victory over Harudot Chonburi, winning 3-2 in sets.

According to Thai News Agency, the championship match took place at MCC HALL, The Mall Lifestyle Bangkapi, marking the conclusion of the TVA CHANNEL Volleyball Thailand League 2026 professional volleyball tournament. Nakhon Ratchasima Quminsee VC, led by Sasipaporn Chantavisut and Tichakorn Boonlert, along with Brazilian outside hitter Gracielie Souza and American star Morgan Bosler, faced a formidable opponent in Harudot Chonburi Rajamangala Thanyaburi VC. The latter team was spearheaded by Nantnapat Mulchakham, Charasporn Bandasak, and Natthanicha Jaisan. The match remained competitive until the last set, with Nakhon Ratchasima emerging victorious with scores of 18-25, 27-25, 25-19, 19-25, and 15-12. This victory not only affirmed their dominance in the league but also brought home a prize of 2,815,000 baht, while Harudot Chonburi finished as runners-up for the first time.

Post-match reflections by Papatchaya Ponlam, an outside hitter for Nakhon Ratchasima, highlighted the match's intensity and her elation at winning the championship.

Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Volleyball Association of Thailand, mentioned that the organization of this year's event had seen improvements and emphasized the potential of Thai League players becoming valuable assets for the national team.

The tournament continues with the men's team competition, with the third-place match scheduled at 2:00 PM and the final set for 5:00 PM.
