Nam Pattaya Triumphs Again at Thailand Pool Championship

Bangkok:Sukonthasawat Soi: Nam Pattaya, officially known as Pennipa Nakchui, triumphed over her competitor Ting Tang to claim the 9-ball pool championship title for the second time.

According to Thai News Agency, the championship event, the "Taom 9 Ball Thailand Championship 2026," was hosted at the Billiard Sports Association of Thailand's Kiatthada Academy. With a total prize pool of 220,000 baht, the competition featured a final round of 25 racks, where the first player to secure 13 racks won the title.

In the women's category, Pennipa Nakchui faced off against Wuttiphan Kongkhaket, also known as Ting Tang TBC. Both players, members of the Thai national pool team, have a history of competing against each other, including a previous final where Nakchui narrowly defeated Kongkhaket 11-9. This year's match saw Nakchui eventually take the championship with a 13-8 victory, earning a prize of 30,000 baht, while Kongkhaket, once again the runner-up, received 15,000 baht.

The men's category final features a showdown between Preecha Boonmuang, a four-time champion, and Permsak Anurak. Their match is being broadcast live on T-Sport 7.
