“Narumon” insists that Klatham is not a reserve party – no political significance

Golden Tulip Hotel, "Narumon" insists she did not talk to "Thammanat" before being announced as leader of the Kla Tham Party, insists it is not anyone's backup party, has no political implications, after being announced close to the fateful day of "Move Forward" Mrs. Narumon Pinyosinwat, leader of the Klatham Party, gave an interview that she has always worked in politics and has not disappeared anywhere. For example, she is currently a trade representative helping the government in trade and investment, but has not been affiliated with any political party for almost a year. Today, when we talked with the party executives and had the same approach, we came to work together. Reporters asked whether there had been any coordination with the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, in his capacity as the former leader of the Economic Thai Party, which was the original name of the Kla Tham Party. Ms. Narumon said that Lt. Col. Thammanat had already joined the Palang Pracharath Party , and the original leader of the Kla Tham Party had resigned before the new election today due to personal commitments, but the party secretary-general remained. Ms. Narumon confirmed that she has not yet spoken to Lt. Col. Thammanat about becoming the new party leader, but she understands that there may still be some communication with people in the party. When asked if the Kla Tham Party will be a reserve party for Lt. Col. Thammanat in the future, Ms. Narumon stated that it will not be a reserve party because the executive committee and party members are complete according to the legal process. The branches, including the provincial representatives, are all correct. In addition, party members have continuously applied. The team is determined to work at the local level and in the grassroots economy to support people to have a better life. This will be an alternative for the people in each province. When asked whether the launch of the new party executive committee today, with a timeline close to the verd ict of the Move Forward Party, had any political implications, Ms. Narumon said it was more of a coincidence because everything was caused by the resignation of the old party leader. According to the timeline, a new party leader must be selected according to the legal framework. Also, if there is a new meeting, the EC must be notified in advance. She confirmed that there was no plan to link it to any political events. The reporter asked further if there was a political accident with the Move Forward Party, has there been any discussion or approaching of MPs to join the Kla Tham Party? Ms. Narumon said that she has not talked to them yet and would not comment on anything that would be considered as encroaching on the court's authority. She asked that the legal process follow. The reporter asked if there was anything she wanted to say to the leader of the Palang Pracharath Party, who belongs to the old party. Ms. Narumon said there was none. We will not interfere. Each side is doing its duty for the benefit o f the people. 'I would like to give encouragement to everyone.' When asked about her opinion on the conflict within the Palang Pracharath Party, her old political party, Ms. Narumon said that she had no opinion at all. It was just as the news she saw. She teased that she had probably analyzed a lot. At the same time, she was no longer in the Palang Pracharath Party and did not know any information. If she knew anything, it was just from the news. As for the announcement of the party leader today, have you informed the Prime Minister yet? Ms. Narumon said not yet, but this evening she will attend the royal cremation ceremony of Khun Mae Chodchoi Taveesin, so she will have the opportunity to tell him. Source: Thai News Agency
