Bangkok: The National Defence College, Class 3, has launched a groundbreaking initiative titled "Thailand Enhances Resilience" aimed at equipping Thai citizens to adapt to future challenges.

According to Thai News Agency, the launch took place on July 24, 2026, at the National Defence College auditorium, with Air Chief Marshal Seksan Chaimat, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, presiding over the event. The presentation, led by General Sittha Mahasantana, Commander-in-Chief of the NDC, and Lieutenant General Arkadej Prateepusanan, Director of the NDC-SEO, was attended by senior commanders and faculty members who provided strategic feedback.

The "Thai Perm Poom" concept, an integral element of the initiative, seeks to unlock the potential of Thai people across various dimensions. The "THE TEN" project, developed by senior executives of the National Defence College, Class 3, represents a comprehensive social innovation strategy under the "Thai Perm Poom" framework. This initiative is designed to enhance knowledge, improve skills, build resilience, and boost vitality among Thais in a rapidly evolving world.

The project is structured around five strategic pillars, each addressing a critical area of national development:

1) Career and Skill: A focus on upgrading professional skills to align with future demands.

2) Financial Literacy: Aiming to build sustainable financial and investment resilience.

3) Lifelong Learning: Establishing a foundation for continuous education and learning.

4) Cyber and Scam Awareness: Promoting awareness of cyber threats and self-protection against online dangers.

5) Life Skills and Digital Citizenship: Enhancing life skills and fostering responsible digital citizenship.

The insights and feedback from this presentation will be further refined and implemented to drive social progress and contribute to national development effectively.
