Natthapong Joins Campaign Efforts for Tee Phatthapong at Hang Dong Market

Chiang mai: "Natthapong" travels to Northern Thailand to help "Tee Phatthapong" campaign at the Hang Dong fresh market. Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, the People's Party's prime ministerial candidate, campaigned in Chiang Mai Province at the Hang Dong Municipal Market to support "Tee Pattarapong," the party's candidate. The atmosphere was lively as vendors and members of the public lined up to present him with garlands of marigolds and oranges, symbols representing the party's colors.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Nattapong began by meeting and taking photos with the public in front of the market. The people wished him success in becoming the new mayor. Later, Mr. Nattapong walked through the area, greeting vendors in the Hang Dong Municipal Fresh Market and receiving flowers from them, creating a lively atmosphere.

During his speech, Mr. Nattapong expressed gratitude to the supporters who gathered early in the morning, acknowledging their enthusiasm and patience. He highlighted the significance of the election as a communal effort to establish a people's government, referencing a past statement by Mr. Pita about the closeness of Hang Dong. Mr. Nattapong also mentioned the latest NIDA poll results, which indicate strong support for the People's Party among the residents of Chiang Mai.

The People's Party has fielded candidates across all 10 constituencies in Chiang Mai. Mr. Nattapong's visit was specifically to bolster support for Mr. Pattarapong Leelaphat in Constituency 8. His campaign schedule in Chiang Mai extends until tomorrow, after which he plans to proceed to Chiang Rai for further campaigning on January 20, 2026.
