Krabi: Nopparat Thara National Park's revenue in the first two months of 2026 has exceeded 148 million baht, showcasing an impressive growth in tourist numbers and revenue.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Kriengkrai Phocharoen, head of Hat Nopparat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, disclosed that the park collected a total revenue of 148,343,985 baht from January to February, marking a 3.13% increase compared to the same period last year.
The number of tourists visiting the park also saw a rise, with 427,472 visitors recorded, reflecting an increase of 5.08%. This uptick signals a recovery following a slight dip in revenue during November and December. Mr. Kriengkrai attributes this growth to the park's abundant natural resources, particularly in renowned sites such as Maya Bay and Pileh Bay, which continue to draw tourists with their natural allure.
The park has implemented several management measures to accommodate the growing tourist numbers. These include the introduction of an electronic ticketing system to ensure transparent revenue collection, the enforcement of a zero-waste policy to protect marine ecosystems, and enhanced water safety measures for tour boats. These efforts have contributed to a cumulative revenue of over 330,477,099 baht and attracted 952,315 tourists since the start of the tourist season in October 2025.
Nopparat Thara Beach-Phi Phi Islands National Park remains a premier destination for tourists, offering a variety of activities and picturesque locations. Visitors can enjoy the scenic beauty of Nopparat Thara Beach, explore the crystal-clear waters of the Phi Phi Islands, and marvel at natural wonders such as the "Separated Sea" and Koh Poda.
