Norwegian Prime Minister Criticizes Princess Mette-Marit’s Past Ties With Epstein

Oslo: The Norwegian princess has been exposed again for her close relationship with Epstein. Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Kahr Storee agreed with Crown Princess Mette-Marit's admission of a mistake in her decision to have had extensive interaction with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Store admitted that Princess Mette-Marit demonstrated inappropriate judgment in her dealings with Jeffrey Epstein following new reports about her relationship with the late sex offender. New documents related to Epstein, released by the U.S. Department of Justice on Friday, reveal numerous emails exchanged between Princess Mette-Marit and Epstein after his conviction for child sexual abuse in 2008. The emails also contained personal conversations indicating an intimacy beyond mere social acquaintances, contradicting the Princess's earlier claims of superficial encounters.

However, the Norwegian Prime Minister stated that he had not yet contacted the Norwegian Royal Palace on this matter and that other prominent Norwegians mentioned in the latest Epstein documents should provide more details about their involvement with Epstein. He was likely referring to Thorbj¸rn Jagland, the former Norwegian Prime Minister, whose details revealed he had planned to take his family on a holiday to Epstein's private island before later canceling the plan.

Earlier on Saturday, Princess Mette-Marit, wife of Crown Prince Haakon and heir to the Norwegian throne, apologized for remaining in contact with Epstein, admitting it was a wrong decision and expressing deep regret for her contact with him. This was a second apology, following one issued in 2019.

The release of these new Epstein memos comes at a time when the Norwegian royal family is facing multiple challenges. Marius Borg H¸jby, son of Princess Mette-Marit from a prior relationship with Prince Haakon, is facing trial today on charges of rape and domestic violence. This has resulted in the Norwegian royal family facing the most severe criticism regarding its ethical standards in modern history.
