Nottingham: The High Court in Nottingham, England, has sentenced former British director and Premier League referee David Coote to nine months in prison. The sentence, however, is suspended for two years, and he is also required to complete 150 hours of community service after pleading guilty to charges related to the production of child pornography. According to Thai News Agency, Coote, aged 43, admitted to possessing a video containing inappropriate content involving minors. This charge falls under Category A, which represents the most serious offenses in this category of criminal law. Authorities discovered that Coote had the video since February of the previous year, and he was subsequently charged in August. His charges also include downloading, sharing, or retaining the source of the clip. Coote gained notoriety for releasing videos where he used foul language directed at Liverpool and former Liverpool manager Jrgen Klopp. Additionally, he shared a video of himself mimicking cocaine snorting, an act t hat led to his dismissal from his position as a Premier League referee.
