Bangkok: The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) recognized the efforts of exhibitors in promoting Thai innovation by presenting certificates of appreciation during the "Inventors' Day" 2026 event. The ceremony, held at BITEC Bangna Exhibition and Convention Center, was led by Dr. Wiparat Dee-ong, Director of NRCT, along with other executives who acknowledged the contributions of participants across various sectors.

According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Wiparat expressed gratitude to representatives from government agencies, state enterprises, private sectors, and educational institutions for their active involvement. She emphasized that their participation was instrumental in enhancing the event's success by fostering collaborative networks and facilitating the exchange of knowledge both academically and through practical activities. This year's event featured an expanded exhibition area, accommodating inventors and researchers with 22 highlight areas integrating knowledge with creative activities.

The exhibition showcased a wide array of inventions and their practical applications, categorized into six thematic groups. These included innovations in value-added agriculture, security measures, green technologies, and solutions for the elderly and disabled. Notable exhibits featured bulletproof armor from hemp fibers, PM2.5 removal devices, and smart agricultural innovations. Additionally, areas were dedicated to future service industries and showcased products such as canned oxygen and woven fabrics, reflecting the potential of Thai research for commercial and social benefit.

The certificate of appreciation ceremony underscored the NRCT's role as a central hub for fostering collaboration to drive research and innovation towards tangible outcomes. This initiative aims to create economic and social value, contributing to sustainable national development in the future.
