Bangkok: "Nu and Nim" engaged in a water-pouring ritual and sang "Making Merit Together in This Life," a song symbolizing unity and forgiveness. This event occurred after reporters inquired if the two had reconciled their differences.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, bid farewell to key members of the Pheu Thai Party, including their leader Mr. Julaphan Amornvivat and the Minister of Education, Mr. Prasert Chantharawongthong, at the party headquarters. When asked about the Bhumjaithai Party's plans for its 18th year, Mr. Anutin stated that their focus would be on actions that benefit the people, alleviate suffering, and eliminate dangers.
Mr. Chulaphan shared that the atmosphere was congenial, as all parties were familiar with each other, and he expressed confidence in the Bhumjaithai Party's potential to strengthen and benefit the nation as committed. In response to questions about the symbolic water-pouring ritual as a gesture of forgiveness, Mr. Anutin referenced the past life narrative of planting trees together, aligning it with the theme of making merit together.
Additionally, it was reported that during the Metta (loving-kindness) ceremony, both Mr. Anutin and Mr. Chulaphan, leaders of the coalition government parties, participated in the water-pouring ritual, reinforcing their commitment to unity and collaboration.
