Bangkok: Oat Pramote and a group of fellow artists held a live performance to raise funds for flood relief efforts in the Hat Yai District of Songkhla Province and Satun Province, achieving donations that surpassed 6 million baht.
According to Thai News Agency, the event took place during a livestream on November 25, 2015, where singer Oat Pramote was joined by his friends Wan Thanakrit, Pop Pongkool, and Na Nek Ketsepsawat. The initiative aimed to support communities affected by recent flooding. The artists invited several others to participate in the livestream via YouTube, including UrboyTJ, T Jetset’er, Atlas, Rose Sirintip, Maiyarap, Meyou, Som Marie, Dome Jaruvath, Zani, Lady Prang, Oab Oabnithi, O Waen Yai, Taitosmith, Zeal, and more.
The charity event was organized to raise funds through the YLife Foundation, a platform dedicated to providing assistance in times of need. The combined efforts of the artists and their audience resulted in a total donation amount of 6,370,685.01 baht. The success of the livestream highlighted the power of community and music in rallying support for those in need.
