Bangkok: Hot young actor Tah-U Pittaya found himself at the center of a social media storm after returning from Korea, where he underwent double eyelid surgery. In response to the backlash over his changing appearance, his partner, Offroad Kantaphon, took to social media to voice his support and call for greater sensitivity towards others’ personal choices.

According to Thai News Agency, Offroad expressed his frustration with the criticism directed at Tah Wu, urging netizens to be more considerate. He emphasized that decisions about one’s appearance often involve courage and self-healing. Offroad stated, “Changing your look doesn’t make anyone less attractive. What truly makes us look good is ‘confidence’ and ‘motivation’ from loving ourselves the way we are.” He highlighted the evolving standards of beauty and the importance of embracing differences without resorting to hurtful comments.

Offroad further revealed that he had firsthand insight into what Tah Wu experienced, acknowledging the emotional toll such criticism could take. He shared that he had a video call with Tah Wu immediately after his surgery in Korea and complimented his improved appearance. Offroad defended the right of individuals to make choices about their looks, asserting that everyone has the right to seek self-improvement.

Tah Wu himself addressed the situation, explaining that his trip to Korea for surgery was initially due to an abnormal eye muscle. He took the opportunity to enhance his appearance while retaining his original facial structure.
