“Pacharin” thanks the parliament for accepting the principle of amending the definition of “rape”

Bangkok, 'Pacharin', the person who delivered the law on egg injection, thanked the parliament for accepting the principle of amending the definition of 'rape' and increasing the penalty for sexual harassment, reflecting that the Bhumjaithai Party is sincere with all groups of people and vaccinating against sexual crimes. Dr. Patcharin Samsiripong, Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Interior, as the promoter of the law to prevent recidivism in sexual offences, thanked the House of Representatives for approving the principle of amending the Criminal Code to amend the definition of 'rape' and increase the penalty for sexual harassment. She also thanked Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, as well as members of the House of Representatives from the Bhumjaithai Party who proposed the amendment of this law in this parliament session. Such a law is considered to be beneficial to everyone in society, preventing them from falling victim to sexual harassment, not only women, but a lso all groups of people, especially vulnerable groups, who will be covered by the new definition of 'rape', which must be more extensive than 'rape'. Dr. Patcharin reiterated that she was glad that this law had been approved by the House of Representatives every time it was brought to the parliament. Since the last time she was an MP, fellow members gave their opinions widely and agreed until it was successfully passed into law.
