Khon kaen: Despite her bustling career in entertainment, singer Pai Pai Oreo has made time to pursue her entrepreneurial ambitions with the recent launch of "Jird Camp," a campsite and cafe situated on a 40-rai (approximately 16-acre) property in Khon Kaen province. This business marks the fulfillment of a long-held dream for Pai Pai, who has always cherished environments that promote relaxation alongside music. The grand opening of the site drew an impressive crowd of nearly 500-600 attendees. Pai Pai envisions further development of the camp, aspiring to create her own little kingdom. The camp is conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport and spans about 10 rai (approximately 4 acres), offering a range of activities. Future plans include adding 3-4 more guest rooms and a concert cafe. This winter, Pai Pai aims to compete with renowned artists like Ble Patumrach and Kong Huayrai by enhancing the camp's offerings based on her concert experiences. The camp's name, "Jird Camp," is derived from the Th ai word "Jirdjaras," meaning "brilliant" or "radiant." Pai Pai shared that her friend Nook Thanadol frequently visits and gifts her with plants, which she tends to diligently.
According to Thai News Agency, Pai Pai also addressed the ongoing oil shortage crisis, which she experienced during a recent trip from Bangkok to Korat. She faced numerous challenges, having to stop at nearly 20 gas stations before securing fuel, with a limit of 800 baht's worth. This situation requires travelers to allocate an additional 2-3 hours for fueling stops. Despite the crisis, Pai Pai confirmed that her professional fees remain unchanged, humorously noting that if oil prices continue to rise, she might be advised to cycle to work. She emphasized the need to adapt to the current circumstances without altering her service charges.
