Pol. Lt. Gen. Piya Tawichai, the spokesperson for PPRP, discussed the recent executive committee meeting, chaired by General Prawit Wongsuwan. The meeting focused on preparing for the upcoming election, expected in early 2026. The party’s criteria for candidate selection prioritize individuals who are knowledgeable and capable of addressing local issues, with thorough background checks to ensure candidates’ integrity. Key policies include the “Half-Half” project, aimed at benefiting entrepreneurs and low-income earners, and the development of water resources alongside farmland to prevent drought and poverty. The spokesperson also highlighted the development of major transportation routes and the high-speed rail project, which has facilitated faster goods transportation and reduced logistics costs.
Further, the Palang Pracharath Party plans to enhance its elderly care policy, focusing on vulnerable groups, and improve the quality of life and safety in Bangkok and its vicinity. The party’s policies also aim to suppress scammers, ensuring that the issue does not escalate under their governance.
