PEA Deploys Full Staff to Manage Power Systems Amid Nakhon Nayok and Prachinburi Floods

Nakhon Nayok:The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has dispatched its entire team to the flood-affected regions of Nakhon Nayok and Prachinburi provinces to address urgent power system needs.

According to Thai News Agency, PEA's teams are conducting inspections and repairs on the power distribution systems and are elevating electricity meters in areas with elevated water levels to prevent hazards and ensure public safety.

Despite challenges posed by high water levels, PEA employees are committed to their roles, working diligently to maintain power systems and lessen the impact on residents.

PEA is actively providing services and monitoring the situation closely, accelerating the inspection, repair, and maintenance of the electrical infrastructure until normalcy is restored, with a focus on public and personnel safety.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to avoid contact with electrical equipment near floodwaters and to report any electrical system issues to the PEA Contact Center at 1129.
