Bangkok: 'Peerapan' campaigned at the Din Daeng flats, emphasizing that they haven't abandoned each other for 30 years. Mr. Peerapan Salirathavipak, leader of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, visited the Din Daeng flats to meet and interact with residents closely, accompanied by Mr. Chanatat Pathamaphuwadol, candidate for Member of Parliament, Bangkok Constituency 6 (Phaya Thai-Din Daeng), number 3.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Peerapan greeted the public in a friendly manner, recalling the opportunity and trust he received from the people of Din Daeng-Huai Khwang to serve as a Member of Parliament since 1996, which will soon mark 30 years. He affirmed that throughout those years, he has worked to the best of his ability and risen from MP to important positions including Minister of Justice, Secretary to the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Energy.
Mr. Peerapan emphasized his achievements in the energy sector, stating that he is the first and only minister who kept his promise not to raise the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in order to alleviate the burden of living costs for the public.
During this visit, Mr. Peerapan introduced Mr. Chanatat Pathamaphuwadol (Mac), candidate for Member of Parliament in Constituency 6, number 3, and praised him as a young person with similar ideals, dedicated to working for the country without personal gain. He then announced the slogan "Choose Mac, get Peerapan" to build confidence among the local voter base.
The visit to the area was lively, with the public giving a warm welcome. Some chanted "Peerapan must represent Dindaeng!" Mr. Peerapan walked around, visiting residents on different floors and entering their apartments, inquiring about their well-being and greeting children on National Children's Day. He also wished the public a prosperous and successful New Year throughout the year.
