Bangkok: Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, a Member of Parliament and leader of the People's Party, has clarified the funding sources for the party's recent trip to the Global Progressive Mobilisation (GPM) conference in Barcelona, Spain. He assured that no government budget was used for the study trip, which took place from April 17-18, 2026.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Nattapong emphasized that the People's Party consistently participates in the GPM conference, which gathers progressive political parties from around the world. He reiterated that the expenditure for the trip was covered entirely by the party's own funds, ensuring that public resources remained untouched. The confirmation comes amid questions about the financial logistics of the party's international engagement.
