Manchester: Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has taken responsibility for his side’s 0-2 home defeat to Bayer Leverkusen, admitting that his decision to make 10 changes to his starting line-up from the previous game may have been “too much” and affected his team’s performance.

According to Thai News Agency, Pep Guardiola made 10 changes to his side from the 2-1 defeat to Newcastle in the Premier League, with only Nico Gonzalez starting against Leverkusen. The German side emerged as 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Alex Grimaldo and Patrik Schick.
