Bangkok: The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior has authorized three significant transfer orders set to take effect in early 2026, impacting 244 positions, including district chiefs and provincial deputy chiefs.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Arsit Sampantharat, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, has signed three specific orders. Order No. 54/2569 pertains to the transfer of eight high-ranking administrative officials, including Provincial Permanent Secretaries and Inspectors from the Department of Provincial Administration, with the changes becoming effective on January 19, 2026.
Order No. 55/2569 involves the transfer of 108 high-ranking officials serving as District Chiefs, also effective from January 19, 2026. Additionally, Order No. 56/2569 appoints 128 other high-ranking officials to the position of District Chief, with the same effective date. These orders will collectively affect a total of 244 positions within the Ministry of Interior.
