Bangkok: Petch Karunapol has publicly clarified that an image depicting a confrontation between him and actor Nott Worarit was fabricated using artificial intelligence. Karunapol, a candidate for Member of Parliament on the party-list of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), urged the public not to propagate false accusations based on manipulated pictures.

According to Thai News Agency, Karunapol addressed the issue in a Facebook post, responding to a widely shared image on social media that falsely showed him in a heated exchange with Nott Worarit, the renowned host of the TV show "Chae." He explained that such images can easily be created with AI technology. Karunapol emphasized the enduring friendship he shares with Nott, stating that even though they may engage in sharp banter, it has never affected their relationship. He underscored his respect for different political opinions and implored others not to tarnish his reputation with fabricated images.
