They also publicized images of property belonging to those who died and were injured, stating that those who wish to reclaim their belongings can contact Phaholyothin Police Station.
According to Thai News Agency, this afternoon, police from the Phaholyothin Police Station's crime prevention and suppression unit, along with representatives from the Chatuchak District Office, nearby fire stations, and operators of entertainment venues, restaurants, and bars in the Phaholyothin area, held a meeting to discuss measures for fire prevention and to establish regulations for all business operators to ensure their premises comply with regulations, in order to prevent problems and tragedies similar to the one at the Ladprao Beer Garden. More than 10 business operators attended the meeting.
Meeting participants focused on reinforcing fire prevention measures and addressing issues with entrances and exits. Officials from the district office, fire department, and police will inspect various establishments to ensure that entrances and exits are not blocked or pose a risk of fire.
It has been reported that the Bangkok Metropolitan Police Command has instructed all 88 police stations in the area and various district offices to summon business owners of similar establishments to understand fire prevention measures and to rectify building regulations by removing obstructions from fire escape doors and flammable materials to prevent a recurrence of similar incidents.
Following the meeting, the business operators declined to provide any information to the media. Reporters attempted to ask a representative from the Chatuchak District Office whether any special instructions had been given to the business operators attending the meeting, but the representative declined to comment.
Investigators have posted photographs of the belongings of those injured and killed in the brewery fire at Phaholyothin Police Station on the bulletin board to list the items found at the scene and to inform the relatives of the injured and deceased. If any member of the public or their relatives suspect that any of these items, mostly mobile phones, belong to the injured or deceased, they are requested to contact Phaholyothin Police Station, at the traffic division meeting room, to claim them.
It was found that most of the items posted were mobile phones and tablets, neatly packed in zip-lock bags. The notices were numbered from 1 to 40. Relatives or family members can view the notice board and check their assigned number before contacting the traffic division meeting room at Phaholyothin Police Station to reclaim their belongings.
