Pharadon Affirms Seripisut’s Right to Challenge Prime Minister’s Eligibility Over Khao Kradong Land Dispute

Government house: Mr. Paradorn Prisnanantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office and a prominent member of the Bhumjaithai Party, has commented on the recent actions of Pol. Gen. Seripisut Temiyaves, a list MP from the Seri Ruam Thai Party. Seripisut intends to petition the Constitutional Court to assess the qualifications of Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Digital Economy and Society Minister Chaiyanok Chidchob in relation to the Khao Kradong land issue. Mr. Paradorn emphasized that it is within Seripisut's legal rights to pursue this action.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Paradorn also addressed concerns about the return of land to the State Railway of Thailand (SRT). The SRT is actively pursuing legal action against various parties involved with the disputed land, and these cases are currently proceeding through the judicial system.

As for the potential impact on Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, Mr. Paradorn noted that the judicial process is still ongoing. He stated that Pol. Gen. Seripisut is entitled to seek the Prime Minister's removal if he believes it is warranted, in accordance with legal guidelines and procedures. Seripisut is free to proceed as he sees fit within the framework of the law.
