Pheu Thai MP Mobilizes Boats and Jet Skis for Hat Yai Flood Relief

Hat yai: Pheu Thai MP Akkharanan Kankittinan has coordinated efforts with four foundations to mobilize boats and jet skis to assist with the ongoing flooding in Hat Yai, aiming to evacuate stranded residents. Akkharanan, representing Kanchanaburi District 1, took to Facebook to share his involvement in the relief operations, emphasizing the importance of nationwide solidarity in times of disaster.

According to Thai News Agency, despite being an MP for Kanchanaburi and residing in a different region, Akkharanan expressed his commitment to aiding fellow citizens in distress. He has successfully organized the deployment of 18 boats, one rubber boat, three jet skis, and more than 20 vehicles. This initiative involves collaboration with four foundations and one association: the Kuang Im Suttadham Foundation in Kanchanaburi Province, the Sawang Sattahip Foundation, the Rom Sai Foundation, the Ruam Jai Kuson Foundation in Ratchaburi, and the Suban Mettatham Rescue Association in Phayao.

The coordinated effort aims to cover all expenses related to evacuating individuals trapped in the heavily flooded areas of Hat Yai District. Akkharanan hopes that this initiative will provide some relief to those affected and extend support to the residents of Hat Yai as they navigate this challenging situation.
