According to Thai News Agency, at 10:26 a.m., the Pheu Thai Party’s Facebook page posted a message indicating that Acting Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai had submitted a request for royal approval to dissolve Parliament. The details of this process were outlined in an official statement, which emphasized the party’s commitment to reaffirming authority and progressing towards the election.

The post also featured interviews with Mr. Sorawong Thienthong, Secretary-General of the Pheu Thai Party, and Mr. Chusak Sirinil, Deputy Leader of the Pheu Thai Party. Both confirmed that Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, acting as Prime Minister, has indeed submitted a royal decree to dissolve the House of Representatives for royal approval.
