Pheu Thai Party Intensifies Training for MPs and Focuses on Behavioral Modification

Bangkok: The Pheu Thai Party recently held a seminar aimed at intensifying training for its Members of Parliament (MPs) and fostering teamwork, signaling a unified front as they prepare to advance their legislative agenda.

According to Thai News Agency, the seminar saw the participation of numerous party leaders and MPs, including party leader Julaphan Amornvivat, list MP Yotsanan Wongsawat, and deputy party leaders Prasert Chantharawongthong, Suriya Jungrungruangkit, and Chusak Sirinil. Paetongtarn Shinawatra was also present, contributing to the lively atmosphere. Mr. Chulaphan emphasized that the seminar was part of the party's routine procedures, conducted before each parliamentary session to ensure all MPs are prepared for their roles in scrutinizing government work and promoting beneficial policies and laws.

The training session included the participation of parliamentary officials who provided MPs with detailed information on various parliamentary processes, including motions, questions, debates, and the benefits and welfare provisions available to them. This preparation aims to enhance the effectiveness of MPs in their legislative duties.

The Pheu Thai Party has been proactive in legislative matters, having submitted over 10 bills to parliament and preparing 47 more for the current session. These legislative efforts focus on facilitating income generation, easing business operations, and improving the convenience of life for Thai citizens.

Addressing energy issues and the Middle East situation, the party intends to propose a motion that will be debated extensively by MPs across political parties. The discussion will cover the energy crisis, the Middle East conflict, and its global impact, particularly the challenge of ensuring sufficient oil supply for the public. The debate aims to address potential economic consequences, including the rising costs of consumer goods due to increased transportation expenses, urging the government to prepare solutions.

The seminar also featured team-building activities in the afternoon, designed to enhance participation and strengthen relationships among party members. It was reiterated that despite the allocation of positions, every member is committed to advancing the party's collective goals, recognizing the opportunities ahead.
