Kalasin: Pheu Thai Party leaders organized two significant rallies to bolster support for Chalermkwan Laotrakul, known as Khaimook, in her campaign for the Kalasin Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO) chairmanship. The rallies were spearheaded by Yoschanan Wongsawat and other party leaders, emphasizing collaboration between central and local governments to enhance quality of life and promote innovative agriculture.
According to Thai News Agency, the Pheu Thai Party's campaign efforts included two main rallies: one in the morning at Noen Yang Prachasamakkhi School in the Kham Muang District and another in the afternoon at Pu Bua Khao Shrine in the Kuchinarai District. Led by prominent figures such as Deputy Prime Minister Yoschanan Wongsawat, Nattawut Saikua, and others, the rallies aimed to galvanize support for Khaimook, the number one candidate for the PAO chairmanship under the Pheu Thai banner.
The rallies were met with enthusiasm from the attendees, who welcomed Mr. Yoschanan and the Pheu Thai candidate with silk garlands and traditional Isaan customs. During his speech, Mr. Yoschanan underscored the necessity of linking the efforts of central and local governments to address grassroots issues. He stressed that the policies must be ready and communicated effectively from the first day in office.
Mr. Yoschanan highlighted Khaimook's "5 Pillars" policy, which includes enhancing health, income, education, quality of life, and safety in Kalasin. He explained that by utilizing laws, science, and technology, the policy aims to provide comprehensive healthcare access for all residents. Furthermore, Mr. Yoschanan outlined plans for transforming Kalasin into a cultural and sustainable agricultural hub, addressing poverty, vocational training, and more, in collaboration with government ministries.
Mr. Nattawut reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the Pheu Thai Party and expressed his support for Khaimook, emphasizing her long-standing affiliation with the party since the Thai Rak Thai era. He encouraged the people of Kalasin to unite and elect a Pheu Thai candidate to ensure the success of the PAO. Additionally, Mr. Nattawut shared greetings from former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra to the people of Kalasin, promising future engagements when the opportunity arises.
