According to Thai News Agency, the event at the center was expected to draw up to 700 attendees and will run from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Provincial authorities noted that while the scale of the gathering was adjusted following talks, the event proceeded as planned under standard freedom of assembly and religious expression protocols.
Police remained on site to assist with traffic flow and maintain public order.
