Ang thong: CCTV footage captured a tragic incident at the Suthadol Temple intersection on a rural highway in Moo 4, Ban Ri Subdistrict, Mueang District. A speeding pickup truck crashed into a motorcycle, resulting in the death of a 6-year-old and leaving his grandfather seriously injured.

According to Thai News Agency, the collision occurred when Mr. Seksan, 40, driving the pickup truck, hit the motorcycle ridden by Mr. Somchai Inphla, 57, with his grandson, Nong Pee, on the back. The motorcycle was thrown off the road, landing 50 meters away from the crash site. Rescue teams transported both victims to the hospital, where Nong Pee unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Mr. Inphla remains in critical condition.

Residents in the area advocate for preventative measures, citing frequent accidents at this intersection due to the straight road and lack of warning lights. They urge authorities to install warning signs to enhance safety and mitigate future incidents.
