A young man driving a pickup truck lost control on a curve and crashed into an electric pole in front of the Thewa Rescue Center on the Loei-Chiang Khan Road in Mueang Loei District. The vehicle was badly damaged, but the driver and the passenger survived. CCTV captured the moment when a white 4-door pickup truck almost went off the curve before crashing into an electric pole in front of the Deva Rescue Center on the Loei-Chiang Khan Road in Tambon Kut Pong, Amphoe Mueang Loei. The front of the car was completely destroyed and the electric pole was broken. Two people in the car, Mr. Phatthanakon, 24, the driver, and Ms. Praewa, 17, were injured. Rescue workers in front of the center rushed out to help. They had to force open the car door to remove the bodies and send them to Loei Hospital. Rescue workers said that it was lucky that the car crashed into the electric pole. In just a few meters, it would have crashed into the rescue center, which was holding a ceremony and under construction.
