Pipat Ratchakitprakarn Unveils Southern Candidates with Ambitious Goals

Bangkok: “Pipat” introduced two candidates from the South, “Banjong” and “Maskri,” vowing to reclaim justice in development for the people of Southern Thailand. He affirmed his goal of winning at least 30 parliamentary seats. Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, the Southern Regional Commander of the Bhumjaithai Party, introduced the prospective candidates for Member of Parliament (MP): Mr. Banjong Chanchoong for Surat Thani Province, Constituency 5, and Mr. Masakri Saelae for Narathiwat Province, Constituency 5.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pipat stated that, in his capacity as the person overseeing the 14 southern provinces, he can confirm that the Bhumjaithai Party has secured candidates for all 59 constituencies. On December 25th, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the party leader, will send letters to the candidates so they can register in their respective provinces.

Mr. Pipat stated that the Bhumjaithai Party is ready to campaign in all 59 constituencies in the South, aiming for at least 30 seats, both from incumbent MPs and new recruits joining the party. Regarding the party’s core policy for 2026, it remains “promises must be followed through.” The “positive” aspect means that voters in every constituency in the South are encouraged to suggest additional policies for the Bhumjaithai Party to their candidates or representatives. These suggestions will be incorporated into the party’s policies, and if the party leads the government, they will be included in the government’s agenda in the near future.

“We want to reclaim justice for the opportunity to develop infrastructure in the South. In the past, we have lacked development opportunities. Even with three Prime Ministers, other regions have received more development opportunities. The South generates substantial tourism revenue for Thailand, but today, this revenue that the South contributes to Thailand is being neglected and underdeveloped,” said Mr. Pipat.
