Pita Limjaroenrat First to Vote at Watthana Polling Station Before Heading to Taiwan and Boston

Bangkok: "Pita" was the first to cast his vote at the Watthana polling station before flying to Taiwan and Boston. He also hinted at his relationship status, saying "I'm no longer single."

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat, a campaign assistant for the People's Party, arrived at polling station 7, Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict, Watthana District, located near the Government Savings Bank in front of EmQuartier shopping mall, to cast his vote in the House of Representatives election and the referendum.

Mr. Pita, whose name was listed as number 531, arrived before the polls opened and checked his name on the voter list at 7:50 AM. As soon as the polling station opened at 8:00 AM, Mr. Pita was the first to enter the booth, casting his vote for both the constituency and party-list MPs. He then double-checked his name on the voter list to fully exercise his right to vote in the referendum.

Mr. Pita revealed that the reason he rushed to cast his vote early in the morning was because he had a commitment to catch a direct flight to Taipei, Taiwan, to attend the National Book Week event. After completing his mission, he will return to his life in Boston. He also encouraged citizens to come out and vote as much as possible so that the election and referendum results fully reflect the voice of the people.

Towards the end of the interview, the media inquired about his personal life, to which Mr. Pita cheerfully revealed that his "heart is no longer available" as he has found a special someone. When asked if he was worried that revealing he is no longer single would break his fans' hearts and deter them from voting, Mr. Pita jokingly replied, "At this age, nobody would care anyway."
