Police shoot drunk young man who was acting violently, relatives are suspicious that the officers used excessive force.

Shooting in the middle of an alley, plainclothes police shot and killed a 46-year-old man who was drunk and violently shooting at police officers. His relatives are concerned whether he used excessive force and want to seek justice for his younger brother. Bang Rak Police Station received a report of an extrajudicial killing in Soi Narathiwat Ratchanakarin 1, Suriyawong Subdistrict, Bang Rak District, Bangkok. They rushed to the scene in the middle of the alley and found the body of Mr. Mongkol, aged 46, lying face down, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and three-quarter jeans. There were six gunshot wounds on his body. Nearby, a 9 mm pistol loaded with six bullets was found. Further away, the deceased's motorcycle was parked with the back open. Bullet casings and bullet heads were found scattered around the scene, more than 10 locations. Two plainclothes Bang Rak Police Station patrol officers were waiting to surrender. The two patrol officers stated that before the incident, they were notified that ther e was a drunk man causing a scene in the area. They went to investigate and found Mr. Mongkol causing a scene, parked his motorcycle near the shop. They asked to search under the seat for weapons and illegal items, but did not find any illegal items. They asked to search him, but Mr. Mongkol pulled out a gun and fired without stopping. They had to hide and shoot back, causing Mr. Mongkol to be shot and killed. The investigator then took the two plainclothes officers to Bang Rak Police Station for questioning. Mr. Suksom, 50, the deceased's older brother, stated that his younger brother worked as a document delivery man and had just left his job 3 months ago. He had been seeing his girlfriend for 7 years. He suspected that the motive was that his younger brother found out that his girlfriend, who worked as a PR, was seeing a tomboy at a shop near the scene of the incident. So his younger brother went to look for his girlfriend at the shop, which led to the incident. He did not know whether the gun found belon ged to his younger brother or not, but he was suspicious of why the police officers did not let the relatives see the body and forbade them from taking pictures. He wanted to ask the police if they used excessive force and wanted to demand justice for his younger brother.
