Bangkok: Veteran actress Poo Kanokwan tearfully admitted the end of her 29-year marriage to Deh Dok Sadao. She revealed, in tears, that the reason for the breakup was witnessing Deh Dok Sadao with a second wife, who had been staying by her bedside at a patient care center since November 22nd, 2015. Poo recounted that upon entering the room, she found a woman she had seen in photos and who had repeatedly called Deh for the past 29 years. She was overcome with emotion and speechless. On that day, the woman said to Poo, "I'm sorry for everything that happened. Let's not be angry with each other anymore. We're both old now." Deh then gestured for the woman to leave. Poo then spoke to Deh about their children as usual, before breaking down in tears and saying, "You know what you did to me. I hope you recover quickly, but I'm leaving now." That was her final statement and the last time she saw her ex-husband. Poo and Deh were never legally married, and Poo was unaware of whether the other woman had a marriage certi ficate or if they had children together, only that the woman had mentioned it during a phone conversation. It's unknown whether this is true or not.

According to Thai News Agency, Poo continued, "What I regret is that woman came before me and lived a normal life as another world for Deh for 29 years as well. No one knew about this because I didn't tell many people. The reason why, lately, no one has seen me taking care of Deh, even rumors spread that I wasn't taking care of my husband. I admit it hurt a lot when people said I abandoned Deh. The reason I didn't speak out, letting people criticize me for abandoning my sick husband, was because of the image of Deh Dok Sadao. I really wanted this secret to die with Deh, but I couldn't because so many people loved him. I spent over 200,000 baht helping with his medical expenses, but I couldn't stand by his bedside with two wives. I want to say that if someone wants to leave, they will leave even if you chain them up. I admit that if this hadn't happened, he would probably still love me. In the past, Deh used to take care of me. He would cook after his comedy performances. Even though he never bought me brand-n ame items, Deh never gave me a salary; I paid for everything, water and electricity. I even wondered if I was his life partner or just his servant."

Poo opened up, saying, "This lesson has taught me to be more cautious. I used to regret the past 29 years, but then I thought again, if I broke up with him, I wouldn't get this daughter.
