Ms. Jenjira, 38 years old, a former academic at Uttaradit Rajabhat University, quit her regular job and turned to selling fresh fruit smoothies, focusing on adding value to seasonal fruits, local fruits, and trendy fruits. She developed and adjusted recipes, creating new menus. At first, there was only longan juice, but now there are many menus to try. The owner of Fresh Fruits smoothie shop said that she decided to quit her regular job. From being an academic, she turned herself into a vendor. During the time when longan prices were low, she studied how to boil longan juice from the internet and sold it at the market for 1 year. It sold very well. From selling at the market, she got to know more vendors and sources of raw materials, especially fresh fruits in season. Therefore, wheneve r she had free time, she would bring fresh fruits to try making smoothies and went to exchange knowledge with people who had experience in both coffee shops and juice shops. She tried making smoothies for her friends and family to try and wrote down the recipes before deciding to open a Fresh Fruits smoothie shop in front of her house, along with selling at the market, Uttaradit Walking Street. One type of fruit can be mixed into more than 10 menus, including the GI product of Uttaradit Province, Huai Mun pineapple, which is one of the smoothie menus.
