Bangkok: On October 6th, border relief funds will be gradually transferred into your pocket. The Prime Minister announced that on October 6th, compensation funds for those affected by the unrest on the Thai-Cambodian border will be gradually transferred to citizens’ wallets via bank accounts.
According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, addressed the relief payments to citizens, stating that those affected by the unrest in the Thai-Cambodian border area will receive 5,000 baht per household for each affected household. The relief payments, which were approved by the previous Cabinet, were delayed due to the lack of a full-fledged minister. Following his government’s policy statement, the Ministry of the Interior expedited the process of submitting the matter to the Cabinet. Therefore, the payments should begin on October 6th, with the funds being transferred to registered bank accounts.
