Today (March 25, 2026), Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul attended the House of Representatives meeting at the Parliament building. Reporters asked about the energy crisis, which led to images of people scrambling for fuel. Mr. Anutin responded, "If you ask about this, I won't answer." When pressed further on whether the government was responsible for resolving the crisis, Mr. Anutin said he was unaware and had not received any reports.
According to Thai News Agency, regarding whether the government's lifting of the diesel price freeze will affect commodity prices and people's livelihoods, Mr. Anutin said, "There will definitely be some impact. We have to utilize the mechanisms available within the various ministries."
When asked how he would manage public sentiment during this time, Mr. Anutin said, "Everyone is working on it."
