Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul Assigns Duties to 7 Deputy Prime Ministers and 4 Ministers

Bangkok: The Prime Minister signed an order assigning duties to 7 Deputy Prime Ministers and 4 Ministers of the Prime Minister's Office.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, announced that the Cabinet meeting acknowledged the order which delegates authority to the Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers attached to the Prime Minister's Office to perform duties on behalf of Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul. The Prime Minister's Order No. 82/2569 outlines the specific responsibilities assigned to each Deputy Prime Minister and Minister.

Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, as a Deputy Prime Minister, will oversee the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, and the Office of the Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee. Mr. Songsak Thongsri is tasked with managing the Ministry of Tourism and Sports (in the sports sector), the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Ministry of Public Health, along with several other offices including the National Health Commission Office.

Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas has been assigned to oversee the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Energy, and the Budget Bureau, among others, while Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew takes charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and related agencies like the National Intelligence Agency. Ms. Supajee Suthamphan will manage the tourism sector of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Ministry of Commerce, and other relevant departments.

Mr. Pakorn Nilapraphan has been delegated authority over several offices including the Cabinet Secretariat and the Office of the Council of State. Mr. Yotsanun Wongsawat will focus on the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, and other sectors.

Among the Ministers attached to the Prime Minister's Office, Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi will handle the Public Relations Department and the state enterprise MCOT Public Company Limited. Mr. Napinthon Srisarppang is responsible for the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau and other agencies. Mr. Paradorn Prisnanantakul will oversee the Budget Bureau and the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission. Lastly, Ms. Sukhsomruay Wantaniyakul will focus on the Office of the Royal Development Projects Coordination Committee and related organizations.

These assignments are set to take effect from April 7, 2026, and are intended to streamline the administration of government affairs under the supervision of the Prime Minister's Office.
