Bangkok: The Prime Minister chaired his first meeting of government agency heads, emphasizing the government's stability. The meeting, led by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, marked an important step towards reinforcing the administration's focus on stability and cooperation.

According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the cooperation of permanent secretaries and government agency heads, as well as the armed forces' commanders, in resolving various situations such as floods and road collapses. Anutin highlighted his commitment to working collaboratively with all sectors, stressing that during fieldwork, he acts not as a Prime Minister, Minister, or Permanent Secretary, but as a civil servant dedicated to the people's well-being.

Anutin assured that the government is robust and characterized by mutual understanding, focusing on duties and responsibilities rather than controlling state power. He emphasized the importance of departmental cooperation in implementing policies, which has led to overcoming economic crises and resolving issues both directly and indirectly involved.

The Prime Minister reiterated the government's commitment to prioritizing national and public benefits over personal or political gains. He noted that foreign visits aim to elevate Thailand's global presence and foster cooperation and investment with various countries, building on infrastructure foundations set by previous administrations, including the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO).

Addressing regional relations, Anutin acknowledged misunderstandings with neighboring countries, affirming Thailand's non-aggressive stance and respect for sovereignty. He stressed the importance of decisive responses if threatened and mentioned ongoing discussions with Cambodian leaders to restore relations based on Thailand's terms.

Moving forward, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for cooperation from all ministries and agencies in foreign negotiations, urging heads of departments to be well-prepared to prevent strategic disadvantages. He advocated for efficient governance and proposed regular meetings to ensure continued progress, underscoring the 24-hour responsibility of agency leaders.

Anutin concluded by reminding officials that their service ends at midnight on October 1st, urging them to maintain dedication and readiness to assist in ongoing efforts for the country's advancement.
