Bangkok: Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, has consistently declined to respond to questions regarding the contentious government lottery quota allocated to the War Veterans Organization (WVO). This issue has come under scrutiny following allegations made by the opposition, which have prompted Anutin to delegate the matter to the Deputy Minister of Defense.

According to Thai News Agency, the opposition exposed the Prime Minister’s involvement, which led to Anutin entrusting General Nattapol Nakphanit, Minister of Defense, with the responsibility to address the situation. Consequently, Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen, Deputy Minister of Defense, has been assigned to tackle the concerns raised about the lottery quota distribution.

Despite repeated inquiries from reporters, Anutin has refrained from providing clear answers about the lottery quota issue since the revelations first surfaced yesterday. His silence has left many questions unanswered, as the public and media seek clarity on the details of the National Anti-Corruption Commission’s investigation into the matter.
