Bangkok: The Prime Minister has submitted the Anutin 2 cabinet to His Majesty the King for royal assent.
According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul, approved and revealed the list of ministers before submitting it to the King. Anutin Charnvirakul, who also serves as the Minister of Interior, arrived at Government House at 2:55 PM. When questioned by reporters about the submission of the cabinet list, he confirmed with a nod before entering the Thai Khu Fah building.
The newly formed cabinet includes key figures such as Mr. Songsak Thongsri and Mr. Pakorn Nilapraphan as Deputy Prime Ministers. Mr. Ekniti Nitithanpraphas will take on the role of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, while Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew is appointed as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Other notable appointments include Ms. Supajee Suthamphan as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, and Mr. Paradorn Prisnanantakul, Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Mr. Napinthon Srisarppang, and Ms. Suksomruay Wantaniyakul as Ministers attached to the Prime Minister's Office.
Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen has been named Minister of Defence, with Mr. Surasak Panjaroenvorakul taking the position of Minister of Tourism and Sports. Mr. Nikorn Somklang will serve as Minister of Social Development and Human Security, and Mr. Suriya Jungrungruangkit as Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, supported by Deputy Ministers Mr. Watcharapol Khaokham and Ms. Piyarat Tiyapairat. Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn is appointed as Minister of Transport, alongside Deputy Ministers Mr. Siriphong Angkasakulkiat, Mr. Phatarapong Phatprasit, and Mr. Sanphet Bunyamanee.
Mr. Chaiyanok Chidchob steps in as Minister of Digital Economy and Society, with Ms. Nan Boonyathida Somchai as Deputy Minister. Mr. Suchart Chomklin takes on the role of Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, and Mr. Ekanat Promphan is named Minister of Energy. The Ministry of Interior will have Deputy Ministers Mr. Jetseth Thaiseth, Mr. Worasit Liengprasit, and Mr. Polpeera Suwannachawi. Police Major General Ruttapol Nawarat assumes the position of Minister of Justice, and Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat as Minister of Labour.
Rounding out the cabinet are Ms. Sabida Thaiseth as Minister of Culture, Mr. Prasert Chantharawongthong as Minister of Education, with Mr. Akranan Kankittinant serving as Deputy Minister. Mr. Phatthana Phromphat is appointed as Minister of Public Health, and Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa as Minister of Industry.
