Prime Minister Award 2026 Celebrates Thailand’s Innovation Ecosystem

Bangkok: The Prime Minister Award 2026 was unveiled at the Startup x Innovation Thailand Expo 2026 (SITE 2026), spotlighting Thailand's burgeoning innovation landscape. Labor Minister Chulaphant Amornvivat, representing the Prime Minister, presented the awards, which honor startups, sustainable innovations, and global partnerships, emphasizing Thailand's readiness to make its mark on the international stage.

According to Thai News Agency, the award ceremony highlighted key contributors to Thailand's innovation ecosystem. The awards were categorized into three main segments: National Startup, Innovation for Sustainability, and Global Innovation Partnership. These accolades reflect the diverse elements propelling Thailand towards a future anchored in sustainable innovation and global cooperation.

FlowAccount emerged as the Startup of the Year, recognized for its accounting and business management platform that aids Thai SMEs. Perceptra was lauded as the Global Tech Startup of the Year, symbolizing the international competitiveness of Thai technology. Evangelists of the Year, Mr. Prapan Charoenprapat and Mr. Chinawut Chinaprayoon, were celebrated for their contributions to the growth of Thailand's startup scene.

Investor of the Year was awarded to Openspace Capital for its pivotal role in nurturing promising startups. The Best Brotherhood of the Year accolade went to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand and Banpu Public Company Limited for fostering business sector collaboration. The LiVE Platform was recognized for its human capital development efforts.

In the realm of sustainability, the Prime Minister Award: Innovation for Sustainability honored Saraburi Sandbox and Crystallyte for their environmental innovations. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council received the Global Innovation Partnership award for connecting Thai entrepreneurs with global opportunities.

Dr. Kritphaka Boonfueng, Director of the National Innovation Agency, emphasized that this year's recipients embody the multidimensional strength of Thailand's innovation ecosystem.
