Bangkok: The Prime Minister acknowledged an improvement in GDP figures during the 141st anniversary celebration of Assumption College. He humorously remarked to the media that the event was educational rather than political in nature.
According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul led the ceremony at the Saint Louis-Marie Memorial Building, located on Charoen Krung Road in Bang Rak District. The event commenced at 1:42 PM, marking a significant milestone in the college's history.
Upon his arrival, the Prime Minister lightheartedly addressed the political reporters present, emphasizing that their coverage should focus on the school's anniversary rather than political matters.
In response to inquiries about the National Economic and Social Development Council's (NESDC) forecast of improved GDP figures, the Prime Minister confirmed the positive trend and mentioned plans to provide more details during an upcoming press conference.
Earlier in the day, at 11:50 AM, the Prime Minister was at Government House to prepare for an impending Cabinet meeting. Minister of Public Health, Pattana Promphat, also attended the meeting for discussions with the Prime Minister.
