Bangkok: The Prime Minister stated he "knew nothing" after the Pullman Hotel refused to allow the opposition to hold a seminar, questioning the media about the hotel's decision. He emphasized that the government's involvement was nonexistent.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul addressed the issue during an interview. The Pullman King Power Bangkok Hotel had sent a letter to Mr. Siroj Paetphan, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, denying the use of the venue for the House of Representatives Leaders' Seminar, which was scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026. In response, the Prime Minister expressed his lack of awareness, stating, "I didn't know anything about it! How could I know everything? Some things don't concern the government."

The Prime Minister further inquired, "They're not letting us use the venue?" A reporter explained that the venue owner was concerned about the potential impact on hotel guests. The Prime Minister then acknowledged the situation, noting, "The seminar doesn't just need one meeting room."
