Hat yai: The mission to salvage the ruins of Hat Yai City continues unabated. Today, the Prime Minister visited Hat Yai to participate in a major cleaning operation. He also brought a team of academics to the area to plan long-term flood prevention.

According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister addressed the issue of post-flood waste management, admitting that it may take another month or so before the waste reaches its final disposal site.
