Prime Minister Paethongtarn’s Meeting with Bahrain’s Crown Prince Focuses on Economic and Tourism Cooperation

Kuala Lumpur: The Prime Minister paid an audience with the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Prime Minister Paethongtarn visited the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain to discuss expanding economic and tourism cooperation. Thailand is ready to provide details of the Land Bridge project connecting the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea.

The Prime Minister expressed his delight at having the audience with the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Bahrain is a close and important ally in the Middle East. Thailand-Bahrain saw that both countries could expand cooperation between each other in tourism, especially in connecting transportation and logistics. The Prime Minister was ready to send details of the Land Bridge project linking the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea, which would enhance the logistics potential of Bahrain. Bahrain has the potential to be a cargo hub, linking air and sea transportation (Air to Sea), one of the most important in the region.
