Bangkok: The Prime Minister has announced the indefinite postponement of a scheduled dinner with coalition parties, citing overseas commitments as the reason.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul confirmed that the dinner was postponed due to his planned attendance at the funeral of King Harald V of Norway from September 7-11. He emphasized that the delay was unrelated to any political issues and that there was no immediate need for a meeting with coalition partners. The Prime Minister noted that since the formation of the government, there has not been an opportunity for such a gathering.

Additionally, the Prime Minister addressed the debut of the "Talking with the Cabinet: Anutin" program, which aims to provide a platform for cabinet members to communicate various matters to the public. He stated that the program is a part of the government's efforts to engage with the public following their assumption of office.

In response to comments made by Ms. Sirikanya Tansakul, deputy leader of the People's Party, regarding the program being a reflection of the government's declining popularity, the Prime Minister chose not to comment. Instead, he invited reporters to ask other questions, maintaining a composed demeanor amid the inquiry.
