Udon thani: The Prime Minister distributed relief bags to flood victims in Udon Thani. The Prime Minister expressed concern for flood victims and distributed relief bags to Muang Udon Thani District and monitored the water situation at Huai Luang Dam.
According to Thai News Agency, reporters reported that at approximately 4:30 PM on October 5, 2025, Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, was on his “Winged Heart” mission, piloting a plane with a medical team from Chulalongkorn Hospital to retrieve a heart from a patient at Udon Thani Hospital whose family had donated organs to help other patients.
While the medical team was traveling to perform organ transplant surgery, Mr. Anutin expressed concern for the flood-affected people in the area. Separately, he went to provide support and deliver relief bags to those affected by the flood at Huai Luang Dam in Khok Sa-at Subdistrict, Mueang District, Udon Thani Province. He also monitored the water situation at the dam. On this occasion, the Prime Minister also purchased 1,000 baht worth of steamed dumplings for them to enjoy, greatly delighting the local people.
The Prime Minister also visited the area to inspect the repair work on a bridge damaged by flooding in Ban Khok Sa-at Subdistrict, Mueang District, Udon Thani Province, and assisted officials in the repairs.
